The Dell Streak has been creating huge amounts of hype and anticipation in the tech circles and with its ultra cool and innovative features it deserves every bit of praise that it gets. The Streak is Dell’s new creation and it is basically a tablet phone that is powered by Google’s Android OS. It has some extremely amazing features like its 5-inch, WVGA (800x480pixel) capacitive touchscreen.

The Dell Streak provides its users the multitouch experience in all its glory.The kind of processor that the Streak employs is a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon and it along with that, it has been designed to run on Google’s mobile operating system.
The first version of the Dell Streak that is going to be launched will consist of Android OS 1.6; however there are plans of upgrading it later on with Android OS 2.2. The streak boasts of various amazing features like Bluetooth, GPS receiver and WiFi. Moreover, it also supports voice and most importantly a 3G cellular-wireless access. Talking about storage and memory, the Dell Streak comes with a whopping removable 16GB microSD memory card.
Furthermore, a 32GB card can be used instead of the former 16GB one. The Streak’s 5-megapixel auto-focus camera is definitely a winner. The camera is on the phone’s back and also faces the front which is excellent when video conferencing. A 3.5-mm headphone jack is also present on the phone. Dell Streak’s dimensions are 6 inches x 3.1 inches x 0.4 inches (153 mm x 79 mm x 10 mm) which is not at all bad for a tablet phone that offers its users a wide array of features and functions.
The Dell Streak is going to be laden with a plethora of awesome applications, entertainment, and productivity and communications software. Moreover, it will also contain an Adobe Flash 10.1 player and if all that weren’t enough, a video chat application is also included in the phone. Highly efficient web browsing and navigation app is going to be made possible by the Android OS.
